Sheers

Okay, so I’m finally getting around to making window coverings for the master bedroom.  I guess no one ever told me that you DON’T using a sewing machine to hem sheer fabrics.  I don’t know if that’s exactly right, but all I know is that it took me over an hour to sew 54 inches of sheer white fabric, and that was only a quarter of the amount that I needed to do.  There was no way I was going to spend that kind of time on the rest.

Luckily, I found this amazing product called Heat’n’Bond!!!  I LOVE this stuff!  I happened to find some left over in my sewing box and I just used it as a last resort.  Once I realized how great it worked I quickly went out and bought four more boxes 😀 .  I know, crazy, but you never know when you’ll need this stuff.
