Today was the last day of school and boy was it packet full of fun and friends! So many people pulled their kids out early but I feel that there’s no excuse for them to miss school other than if they’re sick. Start building those good work habits and hopefully it will follow them into later years.
Emma had a whopping hour and thirty minutes in her classroom but it was good for her to say her last good-byes especially since yesterday was such a whirlwind.
Mrs. Guttman had a little party for her class and their families. I got to meet Benjamin’s friend Mario who happened to be one of the nicest, well-mannered boys I’ve ever had the privilege of meeting. They both have the same teacher for next year so maybe this friendship will last the summer.
We had to get a farewell picture with Benjamin and Mrs. Guttman and I couldn’t help but compare it to the picture Jared took at the beginning of the year. So much change and growth between the first day and today. I guess that’s how it’s supposed to happen 🙂 . Happy Summer!
