Updating HELP assessment

This weeks therapy visits aren’t going to be the most entertaining for Jacob.  Their usual games and activities are going to be pushed back a week because they need to test him for his one year evaluation.  It’s nothing major in that they would remove services, but every six months they evaluate him and go over their previous assessments and see what new goals to set for the next six months.

Today’s HELP evaluation was done by the developmental specialist, Kris.  I’m excited to see how far he’s progressed on the scales.  At his last evaluation he has barely walking, was only signing words while he’s now walking and running all over the place even climbing in some cases while it seems that his vocabulary is increasing each day.  It’ll be interesting to see how he’s measuring up in the other areas later this week.
