Tonight we had Emma’s first dance recital! I’ve been looking forward to this for months. This is the first time that Emma’s ever done choreography and she has been practicing like a mad woman! She’s got great rhythm and putting her in Ms. Lori’s dance class has been one of the best decisions we’ve made as to the kid’s extra curricular activities. It was supposed to give us an idea if she liked dance and if it was something she wanted to pursue. She loves it and it turns out that she’s pretty good! Anyone who’s been over to my house knows how much she loves to dance and move to the radio but it was nice to see that her moves translated over to choreography 🙂 !
Since school is still in session I had to pick the kids up instead of letting them ride the bus home. We had just enough time to get home, get her dressed into her dance clothes and pull her hair back. Jared met us there, along with my parents. It was nice to have some outside support there for her. This is something that she’s becoming very passionate about and I noticed that she was paying particular attention to the big girls as they were doing their dance numbers.
Emma did an amazing job and I couldn’t be happier with how she danced!!! We love you, Ms. Lori!!!
