St. Patrick’s Day Cupcakes

I had a ton of leftover frosting and cupcakes from the last couple of cakes that I’ve made.  I decided that it would be a great idea to break out the piping bags and tips and show the kids how to use some of it.

There was no real rhyme or reason to it, it was just a good excuse to use up ingredients before they went bad.  I hate when that happens!  We had also been working on passing off quite a bit of scouting requirements and doing something like this was leading up to him passing off another requirement.

They loved watching me show them what shapes each tip made and then when I gave them each a bag of frosting they really went to town.  Some got it better than others, Jacob was more about consuming than creating but they had so much fun!
