“Love One Another”

By Benjamin Johnson

Jesus said, “Love one another, as I have loved you.”  In Primary, we sing a song that uses this scripture.  It tells us that we should love everyone.

We can show our love for others by our actions.  We should not fight.  We should be kind and help other people.  We should be polite, always saying “please” and “thank you”.  We should try to be friends with everyone at school, at home, and at church.  We should try to help people without being asked.

Showing our love to others is like showing our love to Jesus.  Doctrine and Covenants 42:38 reads: “For inasmuch as ye do it unto the least of these, ye do it unto me.”
